When playing in Narrative Mode, one of the player’s key tasks is to keep a diary or log of events as they unfold. I’ve found that using replicas of historical documents greatly enhances this experience. That’s why I began creating play aids for my games, using authentic historical documents as templates and adapting them to fit the game mechanics.
I later realized that faithful digital replicas of these historical documents could appeal to a much wider audience. Since they aren’t tied to any specific game, players can use them with any title they wish. With that in mind, I started working on World War II flight log books, creating PDF versions designed to be as accurate as possible. Because the original documents came in many different sizes, I decided to standardize all files to the A4 format.
Here below you can find the list of the Flight Books I’ve created so far: for each of them I’ve created a dedicated page with more information about the sources and the design process. If you find something incorrect or for any suggestion/critic please reach me via email at zak965@libero.it.
