In this area you will find many projects i’ve created and/or i’m working on: some of them are still on a definition phase while others are nearly completed.
Primus Pilum
Primus Pilum is a game for 1-4 players aimed to recreate the career of a Roman soldier, from its recruitment up to the rank of Centurion. The game proceed in Phases, each associated to a rank (Miles, Decanus, Signifer, Optio, Centurio): every Phase defines the number of Campaigns to play and the required Victory Points. Campaign are drawn from a deck and define the number and type of Tasks than can/must be accomplished.
The Tasks are the heart of the game: you must choose the Tasks to complete in order to increase your attributes and prepare yourself for the battles and the many duties of the military life.

Year Zero (I am Legend)
The idea of a solitaire game where you are a survivor on a post-apocalyptic world always fascinated me, especially after reading “I am Legend”, a great book even today after 50 years,
Year Zero (a temporary title of course) is the latest prototype of a solitaire game where you must survive in a world infested by the zombies (with mutants, cannibals, slavers as additional NPCs).
You start the game with a few items, some food and and a place (the Regfuge) where to hide during the night, when the zombie hordes are too dangerous.
The game turn is divided in two phases: day and night.
During the day you’re going to explore the town around your refuge, gathering supplies and raw materials to improve your Refuge. During the night you’re going to face the zombie hordes or, if you’re lucky, just wait in half-sleep for a new day.
The actual plan is to drive the game with specific Missions, that will define the main objectives of the survival (gather food, get a generator, find a car); “generic” missions will also be available with an higher level of replay.

Solo Crusade

Solo Crusade is a simple set of rules to play a solo adventure with your favorite RPG. The underlying idea is very simple: one or more pools of “tiles” are used to represent the map, the encounters, the events and in general every possible obstacle/help during your quest.
Using a pool of tiles rather than simply roll some dices to create the adventure has a some major of advantages:
- visual representation of your travel: the tiles played on the table are much more “soddisfacenti” than a neverending sequence of dice rolls.
- Better control of the random factor: you can have tiles that can be drawn only once, tiles that are replaced when played
The actual rules are available here.
Mercenary Guild

Mercenary Guild is a solitaire game where you must manage a newly founded branch of the Iron Axe guild on the town of Jackelm, hiring new members, finding new missions, managing the local guild treasure, and improving the guild reputation.
The draft rules are available here.
